  • November 22, 2021

5 endorsements across the state demonstrate Fair Fight’s efforts to elect diverse candidates to protect access to the ballot box at the local level

ATLANTA — Today, Fair Fight announced a new slate of 5 endorsements in the upcoming municipal runoff elections on November 30. This diverse group of public servants are running for offices across Georgia from Marietta to Albany for city council seats and mayorships. The announcement comes after Fair Fight celebrated numerous wins for endorsed candidates in the November 2 general election.

“Fair Fight is ready to continue our successful efforts to elect candidates to local office in the 2021 municipal elections with this latest slate of public servants ready to keep making progress for Georgians across our state,” said Fair Fight Senior Advisor Lauren Groh-Wargo. “All of these leaders are champions of voting rights who we know will work hard to protect access to the ballot box and keep their communities moving forward. Fair Fight is proud to support these public servants as we work to ensure all Georgians’ voices are heard.”

The list of endorsed candidates can be found below.

  • Angelyne Butler, incumbent Forest Park Mayor
  • Reggie Copeland, incumbent Marietta City Council member
