ATLANTA — Today, Fair Fight PAC reported more than $1.13 million on hand to support voting rights and progressive political work. To date, more than 15,000 individual contributors have supported the work of Fair Fight PAC, with contributions coming from two-thirds of Georgia counties along with all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
“Fair Fight PAC is grateful for the overwhelming support we have received from across Georgia and around the country,” said Fair Fight CEO Lauren Groh-Wargo. “Fair Fight is advocating for voting rights, supporting progressive organizing and advocacy, and keeping the heat on those who suppress the vote. Fair Fight will soon be sharing details on efforts to support voter protection programs nationwide to mitigate right wing attempts to suppress the vote of people of color in this critical election cycle. We’re fighting every day to make sure every vote is counted and every voice is heard.”
The report’s expenditures also show an investment of more than $100,000 in Georgia-based organizations that fight for the right to safe, legal abortions. In addition to voter protection efforts, Fair Fight PAC will invest resources in 2020 electoral priorities.
Fair Fight PAC (political action committee) has a partnership with Fair Fight Action, a separate, 501(c)(4) nonpartisan voting rights organization.
