Fair Fight CEO: Kemp and Raffensperger’s Cover Up Requires an Immediate Halt to House Bill 316
ATLANTA — Today, Fair Fight CEO released the following statement responding to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s 11th hour disclosure of cost estimates from voting machine vendors — cost estimates that now-Governor* Brian Kemp has had in his possession since August:
“It is outrageous and unethical that Governor* Kemp and Secretary Raffensperger have been covering up these critical cost estimates since last August and only released them under pressure just hours before the Senate vote. The Senate must immediately table House Bill 316 until these massive costs can be thoroughly examined. Any legislator that moves this bill forward is complicit in a developing pay-to-play scandal and cover up at the State Capitol.”
