Petition Effort Launched by Fair Fight U’s University of Georgia Chapter
ATLANTA — Today, Fair Fight Action founder Stacey Abrams issued the following statement on Twitter in response to the University of Georgia’s decision to prohibit an early voting location on campus:
“COVID-19 must never be used as an excuse to limit voting access, including on college campuses. Early voting at the University of Georgia has increased opportunity for participation among students in the past, and they should be safely given the same access this year.”
The Fair Fight U Chapter at the University of Georgia launched a petition urging the University to change course.
